Love Your Business

Love Your Business

Hello, this is Attorney Hunter Cavell. I’m dressed a little more casually today than usual because I’m working over the weekend.

I don’t want to talk too much about legal advice, but more about starting a business and what’s required. There are a lot of times when you have to do weekend work, and you should see it as a privilege that you have enough work to need to work on the weekends. Now, I bring this up because a lot of people will start to hire out with virtual assistants assistance or even assistance in house, which is great. And if you’re growing to that point, it’s awesome.

And that’s what’s called the “who not how” mentality, which is not how do I get this done? But who can do it. But what you need to remember is whenever you hire someone to work for your business, they are not going to love your business as much as you. You cannot hold your employees to the same standards as you do. I work with some people that help me out. I don’t expect them here on the weekends unless there’s a huge emergency, and in which case, I would need to pay them extra for that.

So remember, no one’s going to love your business as much as you do. Do what you need to do to get the work done. If that means coming in on the weekends, do it and look at it as a privilege. Good luck growing your business. And if I can be any help, give me a call 440-940-6441 or cavelllaw.com. Thanks and have a great day. Bye.
